Horticultural Therapy Garden

This researched and thoughtfully designed enabling garden is a delight and a source of healing to those with physical or mental limitations, or lacking sight or hearing, and will provide access to gardening to those who can no longer garden at home.

In addition to its special raised flower beds - within easy reach of those in wheelchairs - there are many places to sit.

In the future, there will also be a covered area for small lectures and picnics, and a water feature. Some areas of the therapy garden will be planted with plants that are highly scented or have tactile elements deemed necessary by the National Horticultural Therapy Society.

If you would like to the see the plans, they are available for viewing at the Bullington Center. Everyone is enthusiastic and eager for the garden's completion. In the event you would like to invest in a pergola, a covered shelter, a water feature, trees, or raised beds, please call 698-6104.
