The BOOST program is now in its fourth year with 27 sophomores from three high schools (East,North, and West Henderson). The students come to Bullington Center each week to learn about horticulture and to work on the grounds and in the greenhouse as they develop important job skills. Students will be designing their gardens for the annual garden competition which will be judged in June 2007. One of this years high school groups is clearing ground to plant potatoes that will later be donated to a local food bank.

Program funds for this year's BOOST program were generously donated by the Hendersonville Rotary Club

The ultimate goal of BOOST is develop responsible employees of the future by building their confidence and imparting an understanding of the basic job skills that are essential in any work environment.
