Multi-Purpose Room / Teaching Classroom

A dedication for the newly constructed Bullington multi-purpose room / classroom will be held on Sept. 11, 2:00-4:00 p.m.. The festivities will include a ribbon cutting by Bob and Bea Hicks, major donors for the project, refreshments and live classical music. All are welcome.

Also the Hicks still have a matching challenge for donations toward the classroom (we still need to but tables, chairs and equipment. They are willing to match another $2850 if received by August 25. Is there somewhere we can put that on the website too?

The area of the former garage of Bob Bullington's house has been expanded by incorporating the area of the stair case that accessed the basement. A new stairway is being created outside the building. The classroom will be fully handicapped accessible and will provide a much needed space for more formal teaching sessions.

The multi-purpose room / classroom is a modern, fully equipped multipurpose space to accommodate a variety of functions. In addition to matching funds, we will need audio-visual equipment, materials, and amenities such as tables, carpeting, and comfortable chairs, etc. If you are interested in contributing to this project, or if you know of someone who might be interested in this project, please contact John Murphy or Jane Davis.
